There’s so much to learn about playing blues guitar you can count on it taking a lifetime to learn it all. And even then you may find holes in your education.
Once you get beyond the basics including tuning and understanding the fretboard and the basic blues chords and scales, then you can get into much more advanced technique like advanced chords and jazz-style leads.
And of course, one of the most overlooked aspects of being a great blues guitarist is knowing how to play with others. This skill is not often talked about but it is critical if you want to take your playing to the highest level.
